Well, we are officially living in Buffalo now. I will be posting soon about moving day, our new place, etc., but due to my anal tendencies, I have to keep this thing in chronological order! So, I have to post about Wes's CD release show that was on October 5th and was AWESOME. For anyone who doesn't know, Wes has just completed his first solo album and he had his CD release show at The Basement in Nashville. Here is his name in lights!
I made him pose beside his poster for a picture. (And for those of you who don't know, he used Wesley Layton - his first and middle name - for this album.)
Here are some pics of the show. All the guys from The Throws (the rock band Wes was in until January) reunited and played for him for the show, plus Nathan on guitar and Donnie on keyboard. It was really cool that all the guys got to play together one more time before we moved. It was kind of like a Throws reunion/farewell.
At one point, the band left the stage and Wes did an acoustic song.
Wes's brother Chad came down from North Carolina for the show, and his mom came up from Alabama. Here are all the guys with mom:
After the show, all the Throws guys and the wives took a prom picture, of course.
And this is just us being goofy.

aw, looks like the cd release was fun! i so wanted to go & support you but it would probably be bad to take zebediah to a smoking venue. we'll miss you guys.
